Day 1

Arrival in Lima

Upon arrival at Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport, a shuttle and a representative will meet you and transfer you to your selected hotel.

Day 2

Lima | City Tour and Larco Museum

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin your tour of Lima's Historic Center. You'll begin by visiting Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion with more than five centuries of history and considered the oldest house in the Americas. You'll then explore the Plaza Mayor, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can tour the imposing Lima Cathedral. Finally, you'll visit the Larco Museum, located in an 5th-century colonial mansion. Here, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in more than 5,000 years of ancient Peruvian history. This tour is shared with other passengers.

Day 3

Lima - Cusco | City tour and nearby archaeological sites

A shuttle service will take you from your selected hotel to Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport.

Upon arrival at Cusco's Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, a shuttle and a representative will meet you and transfer you to your selected hotel.

Enjoy a guided tour of the charming and magical city of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. With your group, you'll visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, located in the ancient Coricancha temple. Next, you'll visit the Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin of the Assumption, Cusco's main temple. Afterward, you'll explore the Cusco hills, starting with the Sacsayhuamán Fortress and then touring the Qenqo archaeological complex. Continue with a visit to the Puca Pucará military architectural complex and the ruins of Tambomachay, also known as the Inca Baths. Finally, you'll return to your selected hotel. Please note that this tour is shared with other passengers.

The Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC), included in the itinerary, is a personal, non-transferable document that grants access to 16 major attractions in Cusco and its surrounding areas, such as Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucará, and Tambomachay. It also allows entry to various sites on the Sacred Valley Circuit, such as Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Moray, and Chinchero.

Day 4

Cusco | Maras & Moray - Cusco

Our guide will pick you up to begin your excursion to the Sacred Valley. The first stop will be the Moray archaeological site, known for its mysterious concentric circular terraces with distinct microclimates. You'll then continue to Maras, home to the historic pre-Columbian salt mines that continue to operate today, creating a dazzling setting with their salt lagoons. At the end of the tour, you'll return to your hotel.

Day 5

Cusco - Sacred Valley | Chinchero, Ollantaytambo & Living Museum of Yucay

A vehicle will pick you up in the morning to take you to the picturesque town of Chinchero. You'll begin by exploring the impressive agricultural terraces and the 17th-century church, built on the site of an ancient Inca palace and recognized as one of the first Catholic buildings in Peru. En route, you'll make a further stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the Sacred Valley. Then, you'll visit the Living Museum of Yucay, where you can witness the creation of textiles, adobe crafts, ceramics, and silverware using ancient Inca techniques. You'll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch in the Sacred Valley.

After lunch, you'll head to the imposing Ollantaytambo Fortress, an important ceremonial center known for its impressive agricultural terraces that extend across the surrounding mountainsides. At the end of this full-day tour, you'll return to your hotel to rest and soak up the renewed Inca spirit. This tour is shared with other guests.

Day 6

Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu

A shuttle will pick you up from your hotel in Urubamba (Sacred Valley) and transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station. This transfer is shared with other passengers.

*Please note that, as this is a shared transfer, the pick-up time is up to 30 minutes.

Board the Inca Rail Voyager train from Ollantaytambo Station to Aguas Calientes Station (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Upon arrival, you will receive assistance. For your return to Ollantaytambo Station, you will board the 360° train. Both trips last an hour and a half each, and schedules are subject to availability.

Aguas Calientes, located on the slopes of Machu Picchu, offers a vibrant handicraft market, a variety of restaurants, and accommodation options. Just a 25-minute bus ride away is Machu Picchu, an impressive feat of engineering and architecture believed to have served as a sanctuary and retreat for the Inca Pachacútec. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu, meaning "Old Mountain," captivates with its historical splendor and natural majesty. At the end of your visit, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes. This tour is shared with other passengers.

Day 7

Machu Picchu - Cusco

Enjoy a relaxing free morning in Aguas Calientes. If you prefer, you have the option to return to Machu Picchu to explore the additional attractions the citadel has to offer. We recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise over the mountain—a truly unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, you will begin your return to Cusco.

After your train ride from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, a shuttle will be waiting at the train station to take you to your selected hotel in Cusco. This transfer will be shared with other passengers.

*Please note that, as this is a shared transfer, the waiting period from the train's arrival is up to 30 minutes before departure to Cusco.

ADMISSION AND GUIDANCE:

The first entry to the citadel requires the accompaniment of a guide.

Please note that the tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The tour route and schedule to visit Machu Picchu are subject to availability.

To purchase tickets to Machu Picchu, passengers must provide their full name, date of birth, nationality, and passport number. These must match the current passport used for the trip. It is important to note that admission to the citadel is nonrefundable upon purchase.

LUGGAGE:

If you spend the night in the Sacred Valley, the local operator will transfer your luggage to your hotel in Cusco. If you spend the night in Cusco, your luggage will be stored in the hotel's storage room.

Bring the same document you presented to the agency, since train tickets and admission to Machu Picchu will be issued with the same information.

On all train services to Machu Picchu, passengers may only bring carry-on luggage (backpack, purse, or briefcase) weighing no more than 5 kg / 11 lb on the train to/from Machu Picchu. Your luggage will be returned to your chosen hotel.

Allowable size: 62 linear inches 157 cm (height+length+width).

Rates do not apply to residents staying more than 60 days or corporate travelers (4 nights or more in Lima).

Early arrival on day 1 does not guarantee that hotel rooms will be available.

Standard check-in times apply unless additional nights are purchased to ensure immediate room access.

Our accommodation rates include breakfast. Breakfast is scheduled at designated times according to each hotel's policies, generally between 06:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. If guests need to transfer or leave before the designated time, they will lose this benefit and cannot be rebooked at another hotel. Room service or a boxed breakfast is charged extra and does not compensate for the breakfast that cannot be served.

For reservations with train service to Machu Picchu, seats are assigned based on car availability. Seating can only be arranged after tickets have been issued.

CANCELATION CONDITIONS

For services (transfers/tours), cancellation fees will be charged as follows:

These package policies apply to Standard to Superior First categories.

For Deluxe categories, policies will be sent by your reservation specialist.

Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu, Amazon cruises, trains, and other special services are subject to cancellation fees indicated by your reservation specialist at the time of confirmation.

In case of no-show (defined according to hotel policy), an 18% surcharge (IGV - General Sales Tax) will be charged in addition to the rate.

Groups with more than 17 passengers or Incentive Groups may have special cancellation policies depending on the hotels used.

For MICE groups, different policies apply depending on the hotel, and the client must be informed in the quote.

INFORMATION ON ENTRY TO PERU

Be sure to check with your embassy if you require a visa to enter Peru (or any other country included in your itinerary). The local operator is not responsible if a guest does not have all the necessary documentation to enter the country. Foreigners traveling to Peru should ensure their passport is valid for at least six months to enter the country.

Comfortable, lightweight clothing is recommended for visiting Peru's coastal areas, while warm clothing is recommended for the high Andes. Visitors are not advised to wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts, or short clothing when visiting religious temples or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
