Day 1

Arrival to Buenos Aires

Reception and transfer to the hotel. 

Buenos Aires, Argentina's vibrant capital, is a city full of life, culture, and history reflected in every corner. A wonderful city where you can't miss strolling through its historic neighborhoods or sampling the delicious local cuisine. Accommodation.

Day 2

Buenos Aires

Breakfast. In the morning, we will visit the city of Buenos Aires. A traditional tour of the most important sites will give us an insight into the historical, architectural, and demographic characteristics of the multifaceted city of Buenos Aires.

We'll visit, among other points of interest: Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Buenos Aires Cathedral, San Telmo, 9 de Julio Avenue, Teatro Colón, the Obelisk, the La Boca neighborhood with its traditional Caminito street, Puerto Madero, Plaza San Martín, Recoleta Cemetery, and Palermo Woods. The tour ends with a descent at the obelisk.

Day 3

Buenos Aires

Breakfast. Today we enjoy a Gaucho Festival. This excursion will allow us to experience a typical estancia in the Argentine pampas in the province of Buenos Aires. We will enjoy a typical barbecue and Argentine wines. During lunch, we will enjoy a folklore show, tango, and boleadoras (ball-playing) skills. We will also witness a demonstration of gaucho skill in ring racing. We will have free time for activities such as carriage rides (sulky). *Lunch with wine and soft drinks included. Accommodation.

Day 4

Buenos Aires - Salta

Breakfast. Airport transfer. Flight to Salta. Reception and hotel transfers.

Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.

Day 5

Salta

Breakfast. City tour.

Tour of Salta, founded in 1582 and still possessing a Hispanic character that distinguishes it from other Argentine capitals. Its urban skyline is defined by colonial-style houses and churches framed by the surrounding hills. We will visit the Cathedral, San Francisco Church, San Bernardo Convent, and the Martín Miguel de Güemes Monument. We will then ascend San Bernardo Hill for a panoramic view of the city. We will then head to the summer resort of San Lorenzo, 10 km from the city, visiting the National University, the Vaqueros River, the Castellanos Ravine, the Lesser Bridge, and the Artisan Market.

Day 6

Salta

Breakfast. Excursion to the Humahuaca Gorge.

We will depart from Salta towards the province of Jujuy, passing through a wide and narrow valley, the Quebrada de Humahuaca. We will visit small towns such as León, Tumbaya, Purmamarca, and the Hill of Seven Colors, arriving in Tilcara. There, we will hike through the Pucará (an ancient indigenous fortress located in a wonderful landscape of cacti and polychromatic mountains).
We will visit the Archaeological Museum. We will tour the ancient Uquia Church, arriving in Humahuaca, where we will visit the Crafts Fair and the Belgrano Monument. We will return to Salta.

Leaving Salta

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight to your next destination.
