The next stop will be Wat Pho, or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, one of the largest in the world at 46 meters long. Next, you will visit the impressive Grand Palace complex, one of the most beautiful in the world for its exquisite decoration blending traditional Thai style with Renaissance influences. The visit to the Grand Palace includes a visit to Wat Phra Kaew, or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the most important in all of Thailand. On your return to the hotel, you will visit the state-owned gemstone factory. Pick-up at Chiang Rai airport for our journey to the famous "Golden Triangle" of the Mekong River, the eighth longest river in the world, with views of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, and its famous Opium Museum. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit some spectacular tea plantations where we will have time to taste local teas or enjoy the views from the area. Afterwards, we will stop at the striking Wat Rong Suea Ten, or Blue Temple, where you can find paintings in a style similar to the famous White Temple, as it was there that its architect trained for years. Arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 6

Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai

Breakfast. We'll begin the day cruising the Maekok River on a traditional Thai boat until we reach the Gayan or Karen village. We'll continue to Chiang Mai, stopping at the popular White Temple (Wat Rong Kun in Thai) with its famous bridge. Locals believe Buddha crossed this bridge to preach the dogma for the first time. The temple's white color represents Buddhist purity and wisdom. Lunch. In the afternoon, we'll visit Wat Phra Doi Suthep, a mountainside temple offering beautiful views of Chiang Mai. Overnight stay.
