We will visit its most representative temples and remains of ancient fortifications. We will continue to the city of Ang Thong, where we will visit Wat Muang, famous for housing the largest seated Buddha statue in Thailand and the ninth largest in the world, almost 100 meters tall. After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Sukhotai. The highlight of the day is its spectacular Archaeological Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its incredible beauty and a testament to the centuries of prosperity of Thai civilization. We will then depart for Chiang Rai, entering the evocative northern landscape of Lampang Province. Lunch en route and a rest stop on the shores of the spectacular Phayao Lake. The tour lasts approximately three hours and takes in unforgettable scenery. Near Chiang Mai, we will visit the popular handicraft street, where most of the traditional northern decorative objects are made, such as hand-painted umbrellas, jewelry, and precious stones. Lunch.
