Itineraries
Day 1
Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech Airport and assisted transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Bin El Ouidane (190 km)
Breakfast. Departure by 4x4 to the Ouzoud waterfalls, the most famous in Morocco. The area is quite impressive, with a total drop of 100 meters. Optional lunch. In the afternoon, depart to reach the famous Bin El Ouidane lake, where we will travel along magnificent mountain trails surrounded by holm oaks that run alongside the surrounding oueds (rivers). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Bin El Ouidane – Kelaa Mgouna – Boumalne Dades (290 km)
Breakfast. We will cross the Middle Atlas to reach the splendid small town of Kelâa Mgouna. An oasis in the Dades Valley, it is well known for its annual rose festival in May, hence its name "The Valley of the Roses." Continue to Boumalne Dades. Optional lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Dades canyons. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4
Boumalne Dades – Tinghir – Tinjdad – Erfoud (190 km)
Breakfast. Departure for Tinghir, famous for its magnificent Todra Gorges. Stop to visit the canyons. Optional lunch in Tinghir. In the afternoon, depart via Tinjdad for Erfoud, the administrative capital of the region located between the Middle Atlas Mountains to the north and the Sahara Desert to the south. Visit Rissani, the birthplace of the current Alaouite dynasty. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Note: Optional 4x4 excursions to the Merzouga desert: 1) Excursion to the Merzouga dunes to watch the sunset, including dinner and subsequent transfer to your hotel in Erfoud. 2) Excursion to the Merzouga dunes to watch the sunset, including dinner and accommodation in a Standard or Luxury tent. (Luxury accommodations also include a camel ride.)
Day 5
Erfoud – Tazzarine – Nkob – Zagora (280 km)
Breakfast. Departure for Tamgroute, where you'll visit the local ceramics center. Optional lunch in Tazzarine, a small Berber village. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6
Zagora – Marrakech (350 km)
Breakfast. Departure for Marrakech via Ouarzazate, the "gateway to the desert," with its strategic position at the crossroads of Marrakech and Agadir. Panoramic tour and stop at Kabshah Taourirt before continuing to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, located at the southern foot of the Atlas Mountains and founded in the 11th century. The famous kasbah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Optional lunch. Departure for Marrakech. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7
Marrakech
Breakfast. Full-day tour of the city, the second oldest in the empire, also known as "The Red City." The visit to the historic part will include the Menara Garden, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, and the Dar Si Said Museum. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the souks and artisan quarters. Afterward, we will arrive at the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. (Optional traditional dinner with a show. This dinner is included if you choose the full-board option.) Overnight stay.
Day 8
Marrakech – City of Origin
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, assisted transfer to Marrakech Airport for departure.
