Itineraries
Day 1
Amman
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 2
Amman – Ajloun – Jerash – Amman
Breakfast and departure for a visit to Ajlun Castle, a fortress built in 1185 and later rebuilt in the XNUMXth century by the Mamluks after its destruction by the Mongols. Continue for a visit to Jerash. During the excursion, we will visit the Arch of Triumph, the Oval Plaza, the Cardo, the Colonnade, the Temple of Aphrodite, and finally, the Roman Theater, with its wonderful acoustics. At the end of the visit, return to Amman. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Um Al Rassas – Petra
Breakfast and departure for a panoramic tour of Amman. Continue to Madaba to visit the Orthodox Church of St. George, home to the first mosaic map of Palestine. Continue to Mount Nebo to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. In the afternoon, we will visit the ruins of Um Al Rasas. Afterward, transfer to Petra. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4
Petra – Al Beida - Petra
Breakfast. Departure for the nearby town of Al Beida, also known as Little Petra, to visit this caravanserai. Then, a full day dedicated to visiting the Rose City, the capital of the Nabataeans. During the visit, we will see the most important and representative monuments carved into the rock by the Nabataeans. We begin with the Treasury, a famous and internationally renowned monument featured in one of the Indiana Jones movies, the Colored Tombs, the Royal Tombs, the Monastery... Petra is one of those places in the world that you must visit at least once in your life. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5
Petra – Aqaba – Wadi Rum
Breakfast and departure for Aqaba, where we will enjoy a relaxing morning on Tala Bay Beach at the Berenice Club or similar, where we will be able to use the facilities, pool, beach, showers, towels, and lunch. In the early afternoon, we will depart for Wadi Rum, where we will have a two-hour tour in 4x4 vehicles driven by Bedouins (6 people per vehicle). The excursion consists of a brief foray into the lunar landscape of this desert. During our walk, we will observe the wonders of nature and the erosion of the rocks and sand. At the end of the tour, we will continue to the camp. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6
Wadi Rum - Dead Sea
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to the Dead Sea. Arrival and free time for swimming and mud baths. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7
Dead Sea – Amman Airport
Breakfast. Free time until transfer to Amman airport. End of services.
