Itineraries

Day 1

(Saturday) Lisbon

Arrival at Lisbon Airport and transfer to the hotel. At 19.30:XNUMX p.m., we will meet the guide at the hotel reception, where we will meet the other participants. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

(Sunday) Lisbon - Fatima

Breakfast. Departure for a panoramic tour of the city, to see the exterior of the main tourist attractions such as the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery. Optionally, we will enjoy time to taste the famous Belém pastries. We will also visit several points in the city center. In the afternoon, we will depart for Fátima. We will visit Valinhos and Casa dos Pastorinhos, places of worship, and the Sanctuary, highlighting the Chapel of the Apparitions and the Basilica where the tombs of Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco are located. We recommend attending evening mass, and in the evening, we recommend not missing the candlelight procession (we recommend consulting the Sanctuary program to confirm ceremonies and times). Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

(Monday) Fatima – Braga – Santiago de Compostela

Breakfast. Departure for Braga, city of the archbishops and capital of the Minho River, with a visit to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte, where we can optionally take the oldest funicular railway in the world operating with a water counterweight system. Departure via Valença and Pontevedra to Santiago de Compostela. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

(Tuesday) Santiago de Compostela

Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the city on foot. Entrance to the city is through the Mazarelos Gate, the only remaining gate of the old city wall. The tour continues through the historic and religious center to the Cathedral, where many pilgrims gather daily. This magnificent monument is located in the Plaza del Obradoiro, a meeting place for all who come here. Free time for religious appointments, visiting the Cathedral at your own pace, tasting the local cuisine, and shopping for souvenirs. In the afternoon, we recommend an optional excursion to the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca in Muxía and Finisterra, the historic end of the Camino de Santiago. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

(Wednesday) Santiago de Compostela – Covadonga - Villacarriedo

Breakfast. Departure via Betanzos, Ribadeo, overlooking its estuary. We continue near Avilés to Gijón, a charming city facing the Cantabrian Sea. We spend time in this port city, whose San Lorenzo beach is a special attraction during the bathing season. In the afternoon, we continue to Arriondas and Cangas de Onís, an Asturian city at the foot of the Picos de Europa Mountains, to visit the Sanctuary of Covadonga and the Pelayo Cave. Departure with extraordinary natural scenery through Arenas de Cabrales, home to the famous Cabrales cheese. We follow the Cares River and the beautiful landscape surrounding the Picos de Europa Mountains and the valleys of the Cares and Deva Rivers through Panes to the picturesque village of San Vicente de la Barquera. Departure via Torrelavega to Villacarriedo. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6

(Thursday) Villacarriedo – Bilbao - Lourdes

Breakfast. Departure for Bilbao. Panoramic tour of the city with a local guide, highlighting its icons, such as the exterior of the Guggenheim Museum, dedicated to contemporary art and an example of bold architecture designed by Frank Gehry, as well as many other cultural, artistic, and recreational attractions. Free time in the city center. Departure for Loyola. Visit the basilica of the shrine of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, one of the founders of the Jesuits. Continue through the surrounding areas of San Sebastián, Bayonne, and Pau to reach Lourdes. In the evening, don't miss the candlelight procession at the shrine. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7

(Friday) Lourdes – Jaca - Huesca

Breakfast. Visit to the Sanctuary where the faithful seek healing for their ailments and fulfill the wishes of their faith. Highlights include the Rock of Massabielle and the houses where Saint Bernadette lived, the origin of this Marian site. Time for religious ceremonies and free time to visit the evocative museums. In the afternoon, depart through the idyllic landscape of the Pyrenees via the well-known winter resort of Candanchú toward Jaca. Stop in this town, known as the "Pearl of the Pyrenees" and an obligatory stop on the "Camino de Santiago." Continue through Sabiñánigo to Huesca, a city steeped in history dating back more than two thousand years, with an interesting urban layout dominated by the Cathedral. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8

(Saturday) Huesca – Zaragoza – Madrid

Breakfast. Departure for Zaragoza, the capital of the Aragon region. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, patron saint of Spain. Inside, you can admire paintings by Gonzalez Velázquez, Bayeu, and Goya. Continue through Calatayud to Nuévalos and visit the Cistercian Monastery of Piedra, protected by a medieval wall that still preserves the Keep. Depart via Medinaceli and Guadalajara for Madrid. Panoramic tour of the Spanish capital. Overnight stay.

Day 9

(Sunday) Madrid

Breakfast. Free day in the city for shopping or optional visits according to your personal preferences; our guide will be happy to advise you. Accommodation

Day 10

(Monday) Madrid – city of origin

Breakfast and free time until transfer to the airport. End of our services.
