Day 1
(Saturday) Milan
We arrived in Europe
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. At 19.00:XNUMX p.m., you will meet your guide at the hotel reception, where you will meet the rest of the participants. Milan is the capital of international fashion and considered Italy's most "European" city, a financial and commercial center. Ruled in ancient times by great Italian patrons such as the Visconti and Sforza families, under whose patronage great artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Bramante have been born. Milan, like all eclectic cities, combines the ancient and the modern perfectly. Enjoy free time. Be sure to stroll along Via Manzoni and Via Napoleone and admire the window displays of the major brands Versace, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Armani, and more.
Day 2
(Sunday) Milan – Lake Garda – Verona – Venice
Landscapes of love
Breakfast. Orientation tour of Milan with Piazza Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the Cathedral. We depart Milan for Lake Garda and take a short boat cruise. We then arrive in Verona, where we will take a short orientation tour and free time to visit Juliet's House, Piazza Bra, and the Verona Arena, an ancient Roman amphitheater now used as an opera house. Departure for Venice and the possibility of taking the following optional tour: Venice by Night + Grand Canal boat ride. Overnight stay.
Day 3
(Monday) Venice
The Carnival of the Serenissima
Breakfast. We'll take a boat through the Venetian Lagoon, cruising its islands, until we reach St. Mark's Square. We'll take an orientation tour and have the opportunity to visit a glass factory where we'll receive a demonstration of Murano glassmaking. Lunch. Afterward, we'll have the option to take the following optional tour: a gondola ride. The rest of the day is free. Accommodation is available.
Day 4
(Tuesday) Venice – Padua – Pisa – Florence
Towards Tuscany
Breakfast. Today we head to Padua, where we'll visit the Basilica of St. Anthony. We continue across the Apennines to Pisa, one of the best-known Tuscan cities for its Leaning Tower. In the afternoon, we arrive in Florence. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5
(Wednesday) Florence
The Renaissance
Breakfast. Panoramic walking tour that will allow us to admire Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo, the impressive Santa Maria dei Fiore, the Baptistery, Ponte Vecchio, etc. Lunch. Rest of the day at leisure. Optional visits are available on this day: Accademia Museum in the morning and/or Church of Santa Croce + Piazzale Michelangelo in the afternoon and/or dinner with music at La Certosa restaurant in the evening. Overnight stay.
Day 6
(Thursday) Florence – Assisi – Rome
Medieval Italy
Breakfast and departure for the Umbrian region to visit Assisi and the Basilica of St. Francis. This city preserves its Roman walls, the forum, and even the Temple of Minerva, now the Church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva. Continue to Rome along the Tiber Valley. The imperial city takes on a special charm at dusk. Optional visit: Baroque Rome. Special dinner with music at the Colosseum Baths. Overnight stay.
Day 7
(Friday) Rome
The eternal, the imperial, the Christian
Breakfast. Early in the morning, we'll take the optional tour: the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Afterward, we'll all take the panoramic tour, where we'll explore St. Peter's Square and the Via della Conciliazione, then continue our stroll through the Trastevere neighborhood. From our coach, we'll see Tiber Island, the Temples of Hercules and Portunus, the Mouth of Truth, and more. We'll visit some of the seven historic hills on which Rome was founded: the Aventine, the Palatine, and the Celian, and then the Circus Maximus and the Baths of Emperor Caracalla, the most beautiful in Rome. We'll see some important churches, such as St. John Lateran, and conclude with the symbol of Ancient Rome: the Colosseum. Free afternoon. Optional tour: the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Overnight stay.
Day 8
(Saturday) Rome (Naples - Capri)
Vesuvius and Pizza
Breakfast. Free day in the city. Optional visit: Naples and Capri. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9
(Sunday) Rome – city of origin
Back home
Breakfast and free time until transfer to the airport. End of our services.
