Day 1
Kyoto
- Arrival at Narita (NRT). After immigration and customs clearance, you will be greeted by an English-speaking attendant and transferred by Airport Limousine Bus to your hotel. The attendant will NOT board the bus with passengers.
Depending on the flight arrival time, there will be no direct Airport Limousine Bus to the hotel. In this case, you will take a bus to Tokyo Station, from where you will take a taxi. The attendant will assist you with this process and provide you with sufficient cash for the taxi. - Arrival at Haneda (HND). After immigration and customs clearance, you will be greeted by an English-speaking attendant. Transfer to the hotel by taxi. *The attendant will not board the taxi with passengers.
On the day of arrival at the New Otani Hotel, a Spanish-speaking guide will be present at the hotel from 14:00 PM to 20:00 PM to provide information to guests. Accommodation: F80
Day 2
Kyoto
Breakfast. At 08.20:1 a.m.: Arrival in the lobby on the Ground Floor/XNUMXst Floor of The Main Tower. Today we begin a half-day tour of Tokyo, visiting the Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Palace Plaza (entrance to the palace is not permitted), Senso-Ji Temple, and Nakamise shopping street. We conclude the tour in the Ginza district, famous for its high concentration of department stores, boutiques, and restaurants. Free afternoon, return to the hotel at your own expense (the guide will provide directions). Overnight stay.
Day 3
Tokyo – Hakone - Tokyo
Breakfast. At 07.50:XNUMX a.m., we will meet in the hotel lobby. We will visit Hakone National Park, where we will take a cruise on Lake Ashi and enjoy wonderful views. Lunch. We will then head to Owakunadi Valley, famous for its active sulfur vents and hot springs. We will visit the Hakone Open-Air Museum. We will then transfer to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 4
Tokyo - Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
Breakfast. At 08:00 a.m., meeting in the hotel lobby. Transfer to Tokyo Station for the train to Kyoto (included). Upon arrival in Kyoto, a Spanish-speaking guide will greet us. We will begin the excursion to Nara, where we will visit Todai-ji Temple with its large Buddha statue. Afterward, we will visit Nara Park. On our return to Kyoto, we will visit Gion (Geisha District). After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Note: Today, our assistant will arrange a separate transfer, with one suitcase per person, from your hotel in Tokyo to your hotel in Kyoto. Suitcases will arrive in the afternoon of the same day or the following day (check with your guide at your destination). Therefore, please bring a backpack or small suitcase with clothing and essentials for one night.
Day 5
Kyoto
Breakfast. At 08:20 a.m., meeting in the hotel lobby. Visit Kyoto to see Tenryu-ji Temple, with its beautiful Japanese garden, the Sagano Bamboo Grove in Arashiyama, and the Kinkaku-ji Golden Temple. Lunch. Continue to Sanjusangendo Temple, with its thousand statues of Kannon, the God of Mercy. Return to the hotel. Free afternoon. Overnight stay.
Day 6
Kyoto
Breakfast. Free day for personal activities or the optional Hiroshima tour. Overnight stay.
If you book the Hiroshima & Miyajima tour:
Breakfast at the hotel. At 07.30:XNUMX a.m., meeting in the lobby. Transfer to Kyoto Station to take the Nozomi Shinkansen. Upon arrival in Hiroshima, we will begin our tour by public transport to visit Hiroshima Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and the Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island. At the scheduled time, we will be transferred to Hiroshima train station for the return trip to Kyoto. Transfers from the train station to the hotel will be at the passengers' own expense.
Important: The excursion cannot be booked at the destination as it must be reserved three weeks before arriving in Japan.
Day 7
Kyoto – Kanazawa
Breakfast. At 08.00:XNUMX a.m., we'll meet in the lobby and transfer by private bus to Kanazawa. We'll arrive and begin our full-day tour, where we'll visit Omichio Market, a lively market selling fish, seafood, vegetables, and more. We'll continue our tour in the Higashichaya District, where we'll be able to enter the "Kaikao" or "Shima" house. We'll then visit one of Japan's most famous gardens, Kenrokuen Garden. Upon arrival, we'll return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Note: Today, our assistant will arrange a separate transfer, with one suitcase per person, from your hotel in Kyoto to your hotel in Osaka. You should bring a backpack with clothing and other essential items for one night in Kanazawa and one night in Gero.
Day 8
Kanazawa – Shirakawago – Takayama – Gero
Breakfast. At 08.15:XNUMX a.m., we'll meet in the lobby and depart for Shirakawago, where we'll explore the Gasshozukurri-style houses. We'll continue our journey to Takayama, where we'll visit the historic Kamisannomachi district, which offers souvenir shops and sake stores. Lunch. Finally, we'll visit the Yatai Kaikan, the Takayama Festival float exhibition. Finally, we'll transfer to Gero. Arrival. Dinner and overnight stay.
Note: The Ryokan in Gero has hot spring baths. There is one bath for women only and one for men only.
Traditionally, hotels and lodging establishments do not allow people with conspicuous tattoos, as tattoos are associated with the Yakuza (Japanese Mafia).
Day 9
Gero – Nagoya – Osaka
Breakfast. At 08.15:XNUMX a.m., we'll meet in the lobby and depart on foot for Gero Station. Departure on the Wideview Hida Express train to Nagoya. Upon arrival in Nagoya, we'll continue to Shin-Osaka on the Nozomi Shinkansen. Arrival at Osaka Station and city tour, including the lively Dotonbori district, featuring many restaurants and extravagant facades, including a giant crab figure. We'll then visit Osaka Castle. At the end of the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 10
Osaka – Hometown
Breakfast. Transfer to Osaka Airport (Kansai - KIX - or Itami - ITM -) on an unassisted Airport Bus. Passengers will receive their bus tickets upon check-out. End of our services.

- Rooms are usually twin (two beds). A double bed is not guaranteed.
- In Koyasan and Kawayu Onsen, you sleep in Japanese-style rooms on tatami mats and futons.
- The triple room will be a twin room with an extra bed. The third bed can be smaller or a sofa bed. Not recommended for adults.
- Only one bag per person is allowed (maximum 23 kg). There is a 4.000 JPY (approximately 30 USD) surcharge for each additional bag per person/shipment, payable directly in Japan.
- Luggage will be transferred directly from Kyoto to Hiroshima on day 4 of the itinerary, from Hiroshima to Osaka on day 6, and from Osaka to Tokyo on day 9.
- You will need to bring hand luggage (up to 10 kg) to spend the nights in Hiroshima (1 nt), Koyasan and Kawayu Onsen (2 nts), Kanawaza and Takayama (2 nts).
- The "Shukubo" is a monastery, a place of prayer. The rooms lack the comfort of a hotel. The walls are made of sliding doors, and the bathroom/shower is shared. People sleep and eat on the floor, Japanese style.
- For the Kumano Kodo, it is necessary to pack long-sleeved clothing and suitable walking shoes, as well as a towel, umbrella, and/or raincoat.
- Himeji Castle admission is not available for reservations, and long lines sometimes form to climb the tower. If you can't make it up, we'll add a visit to Osaka Castle on day 8.
- Entrance to the Peace Memorial Museum is not subject to reservations, and long lines may form depending on the season.
- It is the passenger's responsibility to carry their valid documents, passport, visas, and any other requirements that may be required by immigration authorities in each country. Please check with your country of origin.
- People with tattoos are not allowed to enter the onsen (hot springs).
- If you have a stopover in Japan, please allow at least a three-hour delay between your international and domestic flights to avoid missing your next flight. In most cases, passengers will need to collect their luggage and check in again for their domestic flight (please check with your agency and/or airline).
- Program and/or additional service reservation deadline: 21 days prior to arrival in Japan, Japanese time. ***Reservations close 21 days prior to arrival, and after this date, any changes or additional services will incur an emergency handling fee of USD 175 per change. Confirmation of these changes or new services cannot be guaranteed after the reservation deadline.
- Cancellation fees: 21 to 15 days: 20%; 14 to 9 days: 40%; 8 to 5 days: 60%; 4 days before the start of the tour: 100% of the fee.
