Itineraries

Day 1

Kyoto

Arrival at Osaka Airport (KIX or ITM). After immigration and customs clearance, you'll be greeted by a Spanish-speaking attendant and transferred to your hotel via scheduled service. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 2

Kyoto

Breakfast. City tour to see Sanjusangen-do Temple, Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Tenryuji Temple Garden, and the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Lunch. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 3

Kyoto

Breakfast. Free day at guests' disposal. Optional visits to Nara and Fushimi Inari are available. Overnight stay.

Day 4

Kyoto – Himeji – Kurashiki – Hiroshima

Your luggage will be transferred directly to your hotel in Hiroshima, arriving the next day. Please prepare carry-on luggage for tonight. Breakfast. Transfer to the train station for departure on the Hikari bullet train (included) to Himeji. Arrival and visit to Himeji Castle. After the visit, depart for Kurashiki. Lunch. Arrival in Kirashiki and city tour, where we will visit the former Ohashi family residence and the historic Bikan district. Departure by road to Hiroshima, arrival and overnight stay.

Day 5

Hiroshima

Breakfast. Visit of the city and Miyajima Island. In Hiroshima, we will visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum, as well as the Atomic Bomb Dome. In Miyajima, we will visit the Itsukushima Shrine with its Torii Gate in the sea. After the visit, return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 6

Hiroshima-Koyasan

Your bags will be transferred directly to your hotel in Osaka. Please prepare carry-on luggage for the next two nights.
Breakfast. Transfer to the train station for departure on the Nozomi Shinkansen (included) to Shin-Osaka. Arrival and departure to Koyasan by road. Lunch. Arrival and visit to the Sacred Mountain to see Kongobuji Temple, Danjo Garan, and the Okunoin Mausoleum. After the visit, transfer to the shukubo (monastery). Vegetarian dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 7

Koyasan – Kumano Kodo (Kumano Trail) – Kawayu Onsen

Early in the morning, they can participate in the temple's religious services.
Typical Japanese vegetarian breakfast. Departure for the sacred site of Kumano. Arrival and lunch. In the afternoon, we will walk the ancient Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route for approximately 60 minutes (approximately 3 km). We will visit the Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, the main site of the pilgrimage route. We will also visit Oyunohara (the ancient site of Kumano Hongu Taisha). Departure for Kawayu Onsen. A typical Japanese dinner will follow, followed by overnight stay at the ryokan.

Day 8

Kawayu Onsen – Osaka

Typical Japanese vegetarian breakfast. Departure from Kawayu Onsen to Osaka by coach. Arrival and city tour, including the Floating Garden Observatory at the Umeda Sky Building and the Dotombori District. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 9

Osaka - Kanazawa

Your bags will be transferred directly to your hotel in Tokyo. Please prepare carry-on luggage for the next two nights.
Breakfast. Transfer to the train station for departure on the JR Thunderbird limited express train to Kanazawa. Arrival and city tour, including Kenroku-en Garden, Oumicho Market, Higashi Chayagai District, and Nagamachi District, where we will visit the former residence of the Nomura samurai family. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 10

Kanazawa – Shirakawago – Takayama

Breakfast. Departure for Shirakawago and begin a visit to the World Heritage-listed village to see one of the traditional "Gassho-zukuri" houses. Continue to Takayama by road. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the city to see the Yatai Kaikan (Festival Float Exhibition Hall) and Kami-Sannomachi Street. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11

Takayama – Nagoya – Hakone – Tokyo

Breakfast. Departure by coach to Nagoya, where we will connect with the JR Hikari bullet train (included) to Odawara. Arrival and transfer to Hakone. Boxed lunch. Visit Fuji-Hakone National Park to see Lake Aishi on a mini-cruise, and then ride the cable car. Departure for Tokyo. Arrival and overnight stay.

Day 12

Tokyo

Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the city to see, among other things, Tokyo Tower and the Asakusa Kannon Temple with its Nakamise shopping arcade. Lunch. Afterward, return to the hotel at your own expense. Overnight stay.

Day 13

Tokyo

Breakfast. Free day at guests' disposal. An optional visit to Nikko is available. Overnight stay.

Day 14

Tokyo – Hometown

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to Narita International Airport (or Haneda) via regular service. End of service.

  • For flights departing before 11.30:XNUMX a.m. from Tokyo, there may not be time for breakfast, and no breakfast box or refund is available.
  • A copy of your passport is required to confirm your reservation.
  • Rooms are usually twin (two beds). A double bed is not guaranteed.
  • In Koyasan and Kawayu Onsen, you sleep in Japanese-style rooms on tatami mats and futons.
  • The triple room will be a twin room with an extra bed. The third bed can be smaller or a sofa bed. Not recommended for adults.
  • Only one bag per person is allowed (maximum 23 kg). There is a 4.000 JPY (approximately 30 USD) surcharge for each additional bag per person/shipment, payable directly in Japan.
  • Luggage will be transferred directly from Kyoto to Hiroshima on day 4 of the itinerary, from Hiroshima to Osaka on day 6, and from Osaka to Tokyo on day 9.
  • You will need to bring hand luggage (up to 10 kg) to spend the nights in Hiroshima (1 nt), Koyasan and Kawayu Onsen (2 nts), Kanawaza and Takayama (2 nts).
  • The "Shukubo" is a monastery, a place of prayer. The rooms lack the comfort of a hotel. The walls are made of sliding doors, and the bathroom/shower is shared. People sleep and eat on the floor, Japanese style.
  • For the Kumano Kodo, it is necessary to pack long-sleeved clothing and suitable walking shoes, as well as a towel, umbrella, and/or raincoat.
  • Himeji Castle admission is not available for reservations, and long lines sometimes form to climb the tower. If you can't make it up, we'll add a visit to Osaka Castle on day 8.
  • Entrance to the Peace Memorial Museum is not subject to reservations, and long lines may form depending on the season.
  • It is the passenger's responsibility to carry their valid documents, passport, visas, and any other requirements that may be required by immigration authorities in each country. Please check with your country of origin.
  • People with tattoos are not allowed to enter the onsen (hot springs).
  • If you have a stopover in Japan, please allow at least a three-hour delay between your international and domestic flights to avoid missing your next flight. In most cases, passengers will need to collect their luggage and check in again for their domestic flight (please check with your agency and/or airline).
  • Program and/or additional service reservation deadline: 21 days prior to arrival in Japan, Japanese time. ***Reservations close 21 days prior to arrival, and after this date, any changes or additional services will incur an emergency handling fee of USD 175 per change. Confirmation of these changes or new services cannot be guaranteed after the reservation deadline.
  • Cancellation fees: 21 to 15 days: 20%; 14 to 9 days: 40%; 8 to 5 days: 60%; 4 days before the start of the tour: 100% of the fee.
