Itineraries
Day 1
Hammamet
Arrival in Tunis. Welcome and transfer to the hotel with assistance. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
Hammamet – El Jem – Matmata – Douz
Breakfast. Departure for El Jem, a city dominated by its majestic Roman Colosseum, a majestic and perfectly preserved architectural gem considered the first building of its size in North Africa. Elliptical in shape and with a capacity of 30,000 spectators, it has hosted bloody spectacles between gladiators and beasts, and of course, between beasts and Christians. Continue to Matmata, the star of southern Tunisia, a place where the Berber population left the ground for the basement. Guided tour of this magnificent Berber village. Built into the mountainside, it offers a lunar landscape riddled with giant holes, which great filmmakers used to make famous films such as "Star Wars" and "Les Aventuriers de l'Arche Perdue". Visit to the filming site of the famous film "Star Wars". Typical lunch in Matmata and en route to Douz, the "gateway to the desert", with its nomadic population, and its weekly southern market, a meeting place for all the southern populations. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Douz – Chott El Djerid – Tozeur
Breakfast. Departure for a discovery of the Medina of Douz, the arrival point for camel caravans. Optional: Camel ride in the Grand Erg Oriental (payable locally). Onward to the impressive Chott El Djerid, a salt lake between the sea and the desert, where you might even catch a glimpse of a mirage! Arrival in Tozeur. Visit to the Pearl of Djerid (this tour can be done in horse-drawn carriages. Payable locally).
Tour of the palm grove with 400.000 palm trees and its verdant gardens. A short walk through the Oasis, with an explanation of the water exchange system, the different cultures that exist there, and the traditions and way of life of the "Khames" (the Oasis workers). Lunch at the Palmeraie de Tozeur. In the afternoon, visit the Tozeur medina, its narrow labyrinthine streets, whose typical sand-colored buildings will enchant you. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4
Tozeur – Mountain Oasis – Ong el Djemal – Kairouan – Hammamet
Breakfast. Departure by 4x4 to discover the magnificent mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza, a true suspended paradise that has become a favorite location for the greatest filmmakers over the years. Visit by 4x4 and continue through the magnificent dunes of Ong Djemal, as well as the set of the famous Star Wars film. Visit and return to Tozeur for lunch. Continue to Kairouan, a city with imposing walls and the fourth holiest city in Islam. Panoramic tour of the city and its beautiful medina, an important craft center in Tunisia. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5
Hammamet
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the beach or engage in personal activities, with half-board. Overnight stay.

Hammamet
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the beach or engage in personal activities, with half-board. Overnight stay.
Day 7
Hammamet – Tunisia
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your departing flight. End of services.
