Day 1

Arrival in Montevideo

Reception and transfer to the hotel.

The southernmost capital in the Americas is also the administrative headquarters of MERCOSUR. Its coastline, with magnificent beaches, lies on the banks of the Río de la Plata, where an excellent bay forms a natural deep-water harbor. It offers a wide variety of cultural, culinary, and recreational options. Unmissable outdoor walks can be enjoyed on the promenade, in plazas and parks, as well as exploring its heritage buildings.

Optional: Welcome dinner at El Milongón, featuring more than 30 artists on stage in a mix of tango, candombe, folklore and milonga.

Day 2

Montevideo

On this panoramic tour, we'll see the city's main tourist attractions: Independence Square, the Executive Tower, the seat of the Executive Branch, the Salvo Palace, the Solís Theater, the Agricultural Market, the Legislative Palace, the Obelisk of the Constituent Assembly, the Centenario Stadium, and much more. A guided tour of the city's main and picturesque neighborhoods. On the way back, passengers can choose to visit Punta Carretas Shopping Center or return to their hotels.

ESTABLISHED STOPS FOR PHOTOGRAPHS:
Independence Square. Farmers' Market (visit). Legislative Palace. Monument to the Cart. Word Montevideo.

Optional: In the evening, we'll visit Baar Fun Fun, enjoy a tasting of Uvita (a traditional drink), a cheese board, and a tango show accompanied by a dance partner. Transfers not included.

Day 3

Montevideo - Punta del Este

Breakfast. Shared tour to Punta del Este, ending at your chosen hotel in Punta del Este.

Depart Montevideo along the Rambla Naciones Unidas and the Interbalnearia route to Piriápolis, a European-style beach resort featuring the Argentino Hotel and the surrounding hills. We will ascend Cerro San Antonio, offering the best views of the area. We then continue to Casapueblo (admission not included), a work of architectural art, the residence of the great artist Carlos Paéz Vilaró and currently a museum and art gallery. From there, we have majestic views of Punta Ballena and Portezuelo. We will continue to Barra de Maldonado, crossing its undulating bridge, and return to the peninsula along the Brava beach promenade. You will enjoy free time for lunch and personal activities in the port area and the center of the peninsula.

ESTABLISHED STOPS: San Antonio Hill (Piriápolis) / Punta del Este Port and Downtown / Casa Pueblo (Punta Ballena)

Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the city.

Departure from Punta del Este

Breakfast. Transfer to the Punta del Este bus terminal + pick-up of regular bus ticket, departing from Montevideo Airport.
