Itineraries
Day 1
Auckland
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 2
Auckland
Breakfast. Visit the West Coast to Muriwai Regional Park, known for its black sand shoreline. This beach is very popular for surfing and is often home to a colony of gannets, magnificent birds that spread their wings to over a meter. Visit the Auckland Museum with its interesting collection of Maori and Polynesian art and relics. Then, we'll visit the Parnell neighborhood, where we'll stroll through one of Auckland's oldest neighborhoods, and continue to Mission Bay. We'll then head back toward the city center with a visit to the Auckland Viaduct. We'll conclude with a visit to the Sky Tower, the 328-meter-high Auckland Tower. From there, you can admire a unique view of the city and its two bays: Waitemata and Manukau. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 3
Auckland – Waitomo – Rotorua
Breakfast. Depart for Waitomo to visit the famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves. We will begin the journey south of Auckland through the Bombay Hills, crossing the rich agricultural region of Waikato. Upon arrival in Waitomo, we will enjoy a guided tour that takes us through more than 250 meters of stunning underground landscapes. The highlight of your visit is a boat ride along the Waitomo River, where you will see thousands of glowing worm lights that form the Glowworm Grotto. As you enter this galaxy of tiny living lights, you will be fascinated and intrigued by the tiny glowworms illuminating your path. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, where you will enjoy a traditional New Zealand-style barbecue. We will continue to Rotorua where you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit Te Puia, a Maori Thermal Reserve and Cultural Centre with the New Zealand National Institute of Arts and Crafts, which houses a prestigious woodcarving school. In this reserve, you will see various silica and boiling mud deposits and take a tour of the geysers that form part of it. You will then be welcomed in a traditional manner and watch a demonstration of Maori dances and songs. Afterwards, you will enjoy a typical Maori cultural dinner. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 4
Rotorua-Christchurch
Breakfast. In the morning, we will visit the Waimangu Thermal Reserve, a vast valley with abundant geothermal activity, where you can see the effects of the 1886 eruption of Mount Tarawera. Upon arrival, transfer to Rotorua Airport for the included flight to Christchurch. Arrival and city tour of Christchurch. After the visit, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 5
Christchurch – Lake Tekapo
Breakfast. Departure for Lake Tekapo, a beautiful alpine lake with crystal-clear turquoise waters surrounded by mountains, where you will have the opportunity to visit the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd. Afterward, our Kiwi hosts will welcome you into their home where you will enjoy a delicious dinner, and for dessert, you will have the opportunity to taste New Zealand's famous dessert, pavlova. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 6
Lake Tekapo – Te Anau
Breakfast. In the morning, we'll depart Tekapo and enjoy stunning views of Mount Cook, the country's highest peak (3.750 m), and turquoise glacial lakes. We'll continue our journey through MacKenzie Country. We'll visit Bungy Bridge (jump not included), where bungee jumping originated. We'll taste locally produced wines. Lunch. Afterward, continue to Te Anau. Overnight stay.
Day 7
Te Anau - Queenstown – Milford Sound Tour
Breakfast. Full-day excursion to Milford Sound (weather dependent, see "Important Notes"), traveling through the Fiords National Park. A boat ride will take you out to the Tasman Sea, allowing you to appreciate the magnificent fjord, Mitre Peak, and Bowen Falls. Lunch is included during the trip. Return to Queenstown by bus, or by light aircraft or helicopter, circling over the park to reach the city (additional cost). This reservation will be made at the destination due to weather conditions. Overnight stay.
Day 8
Queenstown
Breakfast. Half-day tour of the Queenstown area, including a visit to the traditional mining town of Arrowtown, followed by a Skyline cable car ride to the top of Bob's Peak for spectacular panoramic views of the region. Overnight stay.
Day 9
Queenstown
Breakfast. Free day for optional activities. Overnight stay.
Day 10
Queenstown – Wanaka
Breakfast. Departure for the charming town of Wanaka. Upon arrival, we'll visit a lavender farm where you can enjoy 20 acres of beautiful lavender fields, farm animals, and gardens. Relax with a cup of herbal tea and homemade lavender ice cream (additional cost). The rest of the day is free for optional activities and strolls around this spectacular lake and its village filled with cafes and craft shops. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 11
Wanaka – Franz Josef
Breakfast. In the morning, we'll travel through the Haast Pass to reach the glacier region. Along the way, we'll pass through Mount Aspiring National Park. We'll then continue to Franz Josef. Along the way, we'll visit Lake Matheson, a New Zealand gem. Arrival in Franz Josef and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 12
Franz Josef Glacier - Greymouth - Punakaiki
Breakfast. Free morning in Franz Josef. Optional excursions will be offered through the valley to the Glacier, a helicopter tour with an ice walk, or a scenic flight where you can enjoy wonderful aerial views of the glaciers and the region (optional activities not included, subject to weather conditions). In the afternoon, you will travel to Punakaiki, passing through the town of Hokitika and Greymouth. Near Hokitika, you will enjoy a canopy walk among the giant rainforest, birds, and ancient Rimu and Kamahi trees. Marvel at the views of the forest, snow-capped mountains, and the Tasman Sea (activity subject to weather conditions). Upon arrival in Punakaiki, visit the Pancake Rocks, which have been eroded by the fury of the sea to their distinctive shape, giving them the name "Pancake Rocks." (This tour can be done the following morning). Arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 13
Punakaiki - Kaikoura
Breakfast. We will continue our journey to Kaikoura along the west coast. We will then head towards Lewis Pass, where we will make a brief stop in Hanmer Springs before continuing to Kaikoura along the east coast. Arrival in Kaikoura and transfer to your hotel. Dinner included in Kaikoura. Overnight stay.
Day 14
Kaikoura - Christchurch
Breakfast. Early in the morning, we'll take a whale-watching boat trip (please note that the cruise departure is subject to weather conditions). Depart for Christchurch and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 15
Christchurch – Hometown
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport. End of service.

- Domestic flight prices may increase without prior notice, and the final price will be reported in the booking confirmation.
- Cancellation fees: 30 to 16 days: 25%; 15 to 9 days: 50%; 8 days before the start of the tour: 100% of the fee. If airfare is included and cancellation is made within 55 days of tour departure, the fee is 100%.
