Itineraries
Day 1
(Friday) Lisbon
Arrival at Lisbon Airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. At 19.30:XNUMX p.m., we will meet with the guide at the hotel reception, where we will meet the other participants.
Day 2
(Saturday) Lisbon – Evora – Albufeira
Breakfast and departure for the Alentejo region. Visit a local winery to learn about the production methods and characteristics, followed by a wine tasting. Continue to Évora and a walking tour, passing the Temple of Diana, the Cathedral, Giraldo Square, and the Church of São Francisco. You can also visit the famous "Capela dos Ossos" (Bear's Chapel) (optional). Continue through the Alentejo region to the Algarve. Arrival in Albufeira. Overnight stay.
Day 3
(Sunday) Albufeira – Lagos – Albufeira
Breakfast. Departure for the western Algarve region, heading to Sagres. Visit Cape São Vicente and Fortaleza, a natural promontory in the southwest of continental Portugal. Visit Ponta de Piedade near the city of Lagos, stopping in this city forever linked to the country's maritime history. Free time. Continue through the port city of Portimão before returning to Albufeira. Overnight stay.
Day 4
(Monday) Albufeira – Tavira – Lisbon
Breakfast and departure for Vilamoura. A brief panoramic tour and a photo stop at the marina. Continue to Faro, the capital of the Algarve province, where the walled historic center stands out. Departure for the eastern Algarve region to reach Tavira. Time to visit the typical town on the Gilão River. Return to Lisbon. In the evening, we offer an optional fado show with dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 5
(Tuesday) Lisbon – Sintra - Lisbon
Breakfast and departure for Sintra. Free time and then a panoramic tour of the Costa del Sol through Cascais and Estoril, returning along the Portuguese Riviera to Lisbon. Arrival and panoramic tour of the city, exploring the exterior of the main monuments such as the Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery, with time to taste the famous Belém pastries (optional). We will also visit several points in the city center. Overnight stay.
Day 6
(Wednesday) Lisbon – Óbidos - Coimbra - Braga
Breakfast and departure for a visit to Óbidos, a charming medieval walled town. Continue to the historic and monumental Coimbra with a panoramic tour of the city, taking in the Mondego River, the Convents of Santa Clara, the Old Cathedral, the Church of Santa Cruz, and many other tourist attractions. Visit the ancient and prestigious University. Free time in the city center and continue to Braga, the city of archbishops and capital of the Minho River. Overnight stay.
Day 7
(Thursday) Braga - Santiago de Compostela – Braga
Breakfast and departure for Santiago de Compostela. Visit with a local guide to the historic, tourist, and religious center, highlighting the Cathedral located in Plaza del Obradoiro, where numerous pilgrims arrive daily on the famous Camino de Santiago. Return to Portugal via the typical village of Ponte de Lima, where we will have free time for shopping. Arrival in Braga. Overnight stay.
Day 8
Friday) Braga - Guimãraes - Porto
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of Braga, highlighting the exterior of its Cathedral, the oldest in Portugal, and a visit to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus. Continue to Guimarães for a visit inside the Palace of the Dukes of Braga and a walking tour of the historic center. Free time for shopping and departure for Porto. En route, visit some famous wineries, including a tasting of the renowned port wine. Arrival in Porto. Overnight stay.
Day 9
(Saturday) Porto
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of Portugal's second largest city, including the Cathedral, Liberty Square with the statue of King Pedro IV of Portugal, the Church and Tower of Cléigos, and the Foz. Visit the Stock Exchange Palace with its magnificent Arab Room. Boat trip along the Douro River. Free afternoon for sightseeing or shopping. Overnight stay.
Day 10
(Sunday) Porto – Aveiro – Fátima – Lisbon
Breakfast. Departure for Aveiro, the city of canals and delicious "ovos moles," a beloved regional dessert. Continue to Fátima. Visit the Sanctuary, the small Chapel of the Apparitions, and the Basilica, where the tombs of Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta are located. Free time for religious activities and shopping. Return to Lisbon. Overnight stay.
Day 11
(Monday) – Lisbon – city of origin
Breakfast and transfer to the airport. End of our services.
