Day 2

Rio de Janeiro

From anywhere in the city, you can see Rio de Janeiro's most beautiful postcard view: Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain. This statue, located 710 meters above sea level, was inaugurated in 1931 and has since become one of the city's most visited tourist spots. The tour begins in the Cosme Velho neighborhood, where you'll board the famous Corcovado Train or Tourist Vans, which travel through the Tijuca Forest with wonderful panoramic views of the largest urban forest in the world. A truly enchanting tour that combines Rio's urban planning and its exuberant nature. From the feet of Christ, visitors will discover the best panoramic views of Rio, including Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, among others, and Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Once you've finished your visit to Christ, you'll descend Corcovado on the train or in the vans to the same boarding point.
Next, a tour of downtown Rio de Janeiro will include the Sambodromo, where the samba school parades take place during the world's most famous carnival. The pyramid-shaped Metropolitan Cathedral, with an internal diameter of 96 meters and a height of 80 meters, and the traditional Cinelandia with the Municipal Theater, the National Library, and the Assembly building. After touring downtown, the tour continues through the Flamengo neighborhood toward Urca, home to another symbol of Rio de Janeiro: Sugarloaf Mountain. It was at the foot of this hill that the city of Rio de Janeiro was founded by Estadio de Sá in 1565.

The visit to Sugarloaf Mountain is made in two stages via a cable car suspended by steel cables. The first stage connects Vermelha Beach to Urca Hill, located at an altitude of 2 meters, from where you can see Guanabara Bay and its islands, Flamengo Beach, Corcovado Mountain, and the bridge that connects Rio to Niteroi. From Urca Hill, the second part of the ascent begins, heading to Sugarloaf Mountain at an altitude of 215 meters, where you can enjoy unique views of Copacabana Beach, the Santa Cruz Fortress, and some of Niteroi's beaches. After spending time on the balconies of Sugarloaf Mountain, you will descend using the same cable car. Your transportation will be waiting at the foot of the hill to take you back to your hotel. End of the tour.

Day 4

Rio de Janeiro

Transfer to Villahermosa and visit the "La Venta" museum, which houses one of the largest collections of Olmec artifacts. Divided into two areas: zoological and archaeological, the first exhibits animals from this tropical region; and the second presents sculptures classified into three groups: altars, stelae, and the impressive colossal heads. Transfer to the Villahermosa Airport or Bus Terminal. Departure after 2:3 PM.

Today we will take the half-day Rio Gardens tour.
Tijuca Forest: Located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, easily accessible from any point in the city, this Rio de Janeiro park protects the world's largest urban rainforest, covering 3.953 hectares. It is the most visited National Park in Brazil, receiving more than three million visitors per year, including Brazilians and foreigners of all ages. It is undoubtedly Rio's green lung, attracting those seeking rainforest landscapes near the sea, birdwatchers, hikers, or simply those seeking contact with nature.
Botanical Garden: The Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden was created by King John VI and has endured for 200 years with an avenue of imperial palm trees, a lake with enormous irupés, an orchid nursery, and a bromeliad nursery. This garden was built due to King John VI's fascination with Brazilian botany, especially its trees and palms. It was also the site of a gunpowder factory that supplied the armies of the Brazilian Empire for some time.

Lages Park:
This large Rio park, located next to the Botanical Garden and part of the extensive Tijuca Forest, dates back to the 16th century as a rural property of the then governor of Rio de Janeiro. The site once housed a sugar mill, which later became a leisure garden for the Rio aristocracy in the 19th century. It only opened its doors as a public park to the public in the mid-20th century. This unique Rio park is characterized by beautifully designed geometric front gardens, contrasting with lush jungle side gardens, with a Roman palace in the middle, which now houses Rio's School of Fine Arts. The gardens and their paths lead visitors to discover this enchanting refuge from the marvelous city.

After visiting these three places, free afternoon.
