Itineraries
Day 1
Colombo – Kandy
Arrival at Colombo Airport. Reception and transfer to the hotel in Kandy. In the afternoon, attend a Sinhala dance performance. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Kandy
Breakfast. Departure for the mountain known as "Little England," whose name in Sinhala is "Nuwara Eliya." We will take the famous train and take the most beautiful journey through the tea plantations. At noon, we will arrive in the city and take a stroll through the center. Lunch. On the way back to Kandy, we will pick tea leaves at a plantation and visit a factory to witness the processing and production of Sri Lanka's famous tea. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Kandy – Pinnawela – Peradeniya – Kandy
Breakfast. Visit to the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. We will arrive early in the morning to see how they are fed fruit and have the opportunity to feed them ourselves. We will return to Kandy to visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Lunch. We will have the opportunity to see the "Blue Sapphire," the world's largest star, in a gem museum. In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. In the late afternoon, we will stroll through Kandy's main market. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4
Kandy – Matale – Dambulla – Habarana
Breakfast. Departure for Habarana. First, we'll visit a spice garden, where we'll learn how to cook a delicious and traditional curry dish. Along the way, we'll visit the five Dambulla caves, better known as the Golden Temple. Lunch. Arrival at the hotel. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5
Habarana – Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Habarana
Breakfast. Early in the morning, we will climb Lion Rock. We will then head to the second capital to see the ancient palaces, temples, stupas, and rock-carved statues. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will go on a safari through the bush to observe wild elephants. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6
Habarana – Colombo – Galle
Breakfast. Departure for Colombo. We will stop at a traditional textile store, where we can dress up in the country's characteristic costumes. Continue to the capital, where we will take a panoramic tour of the city's landmarks, such as Cinnamon Gardens, Viharamahadevi Park, the Hindu Temple, the Galle Face Promenade, Independence Square, and more. Lunch. In the afternoon, depart for Galle. Arrival, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 7
Galle – Kogala – Galle
Breakfast. Departure for a visit to the Dutch Fort. Afterward, depart for Koggala to see the fishermen's fishing technique: perched on a narrow pole and anchored in the waves off the beach. Return to Galle. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8
Galle – Colombo
Breakfast. Transfer to Colombo Airport. End of our services.
