We will visit the cemetery, where prisoners who lost their lives during the bridge's construction are buried, and the War Museum. We will take a boat ride along the River Kwai to the bridge, with free time to walk across and stroll. Lunch. After lunch, transfer to the hotel and free time to enjoy the hotel's privileged location and surroundings. Overnight stay.
Day 5
River Kwai – Ayutthaya – Ang Thong – Phitsanulok
Breakfast. Departure for the city of Ayutthaya, the country's archaeological center par excellence and the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam. We will visit the main temples of its archaeological complex, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and of great historical interest: Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. We will then travel to the city of Ang Thong, where we will visit Wat Muang, famous for housing the largest seated Buddha statue in Thailand and the ninth largest in the world, almost 100 meters tall. Lunch will follow and we will depart for Phitsanulok, located in the heart of Thailand and considered one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage centers in the country. During the journey, we will witness the changing landscape, becoming increasingly lush and green, as we begin to see the jungle landscapes of the north of the country. Arrival at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 6
Phitsanulok – Sukhothai – Chiang Rai
Early in the morning, for those who wish, we will head to the vicinity of the hotel to make an offering to the monks and experience firsthand one of the most emblematic aspects of Thai culture. Breakfast and departure for Sukhotai. Visit its Archaeological Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its incredible beauty and a testament to the centuries of prosperity of Thai civilization, which built monumental cities and sophisticated temples. We will continue to Chiang Rai, venturing into the evocative northern landscape of Lampang Province. Lunch en route and a stop on the shores of Lake Phayao. Continue to Chiang Rai. Arrival and free time to relax, enjoy a swim in the hotel pool, or visit the city's night market. Overnight stay.

We will then go to the village of the Akha, an ethnic group known for their colorful clothing and the picturesque surrounding tea plantations. We will continue to Chiang Saen, home to the famous "Golden Triangle" of the Mekong River, which encompasses areas of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar formerly dedicated to the opium trade. We will make a stop at the "Opium Museum." We will then depart for Mae Sai, a town on the border with Myanmar (formerly Burma), where there is a peculiar market selling Burmese products and witness the constant bustle of goods and people. Lunch. Return to Chiang Rai. Accommodation.
Day 8
Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai
Breakfast. We will depart with our first stop at the White Temple (Wat Rong Kun). In local culture, white represents Buddhist purity and wisdom. We will then tour the famous landscapes that separate these two northern cities: Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, the journey taking approximately 3 hours. Near Chiang Mai, we will visit the popular handicraft street where most of the traditional northern decorative objects are made, such as hand-painted umbrellas, jewelry, and precious stones. Lunch will be served en route, and once in Chiang Mai, we will climb to the mountain temple (Wat Doi Suthep), from where we can appreciate the city of Chiang Mai in all its splendor. In the evening, we can stroll through the famous night market. Overnight stay.
Day 9
Chiang Mai
