Requests to add daily breakfast to an escorted tour after the tour has departed will be subject to a $25 service fee per room.
TO SMOKE
Smoking is not permitted on tour or excursion buses in the U.S. and Canada.
Smoking is also restricted in most hotels and restaurants, as well as in certain bars and lounges in some cities. Many hotels in the U.S. and Canada are now 100% smoke-free. If passengers smoke in an area where smoking is prohibited, and this incurs cleaning fees for the local operator, these fees will be passed on to the passengers or the tour operator who made the reservation.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS
Due to enhanced security measures, representatives are no longer able to greet arriving passengers at the arrival gates. Instead, the driver or guide will greet the passenger at the baggage claim area or curbside in front of the terminal building. Passengers must be informed of this procedure. All transfer reservations must include the airline (not the codeshare airline), flight number, schedule, and hotel name. Please note that the local operator offers several hotels that are considered outside the normal areas for roundtrip transfers. In these cases, hotel pickup and drop-off may not be available or may require an additional fee.
TOUR PRICES
Child rates apply to guests 16 years of age and younger sharing a room and using existing bedding with two full-paying guests, regardless of age. Bedding preferences can be indicated when booking. We cannot guarantee that the hotel will be able to accommodate them at no additional charge. The maximum total occupancy allowed per room for our Escorted Tours is 2 guests, regardless of age. The local operator strongly recommends that children be at least 4 years old to participate in our Escorted Tours, and reservations for children under 12 years old will not be accepted. The full names of all adults and children must be provided. Children's ages must be indicated at the time of booking.
Tour prices include hotel porterage for one suitcase per person only. Due to space limitations, the local operator cannot guarantee availability.
Additional bags will not be allowed on the bus. If space permits, passengers will be charged US$4 per bag, per day, for each additional bag. This additional fee will be collected at the start of the tour. Porterage service is not included at pre- and/or post-tour hotels.
Tour prices do not include tips for the driver or guide.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The local operator reserves the right to substitute hotels and services with others of equal or better quality than those mentioned in the tour itineraries and to modify tour schedules and/or transportation modes when and where we deem it operationally necessary.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
Travel documentation, including visas, as well as compliance with customs regulations, are the responsibility of the passengers. The local operator is not responsible for any costs incurred by passengers as a result of having incorrect or insufficient travel documentation. It is also essential to have adequate documentation for identification purposes at check-in.
TRAVEL RESTRICTION
The Client acknowledges that travel restrictions may apply to the destinations served by the Local Operator. It is the Client's sole responsibility to ensure that its clients comply with all applicable government or other travel restrictions for or within a particular destination. The Local Operator will not be responsible or liable to refund any reservations canceled for failure to comply with travel restrictions imposed by governments or other entities. Travel to certain destinations may involve more risks than travel to others; therefore, we strongly recommend reviewing government-issued public health advisories, warnings, requirements, restrictions, and guidelines before making a reservation and before traveling. The Local Operator is not responsible for any risks arising from travel or information provided by the Local Operator and/or service providers. These terms do not replace the Client's prudent risk assessment based on their personal circumstances and prudent health, safety, and security considerations. The local operator assumes no responsibility or obligation to determine and obtain appropriate travel documents for the customer, both for domestic and international destinations, complying with all entry/exit requirements and other government restrictions applicable to the travel destinations, and complying with all travel service providers' requirements, including, but not limited to, the completion of health forms and submission of COVID-19 test results.
HEALTH AND SECURITY
When traveling with a local operator, your safety is of utmost importance to us.
Passengers must be medically and physically fit to travel. They should consult their personal physician if they have any questions about their medical or physical fitness to travel, including the suitability of any vaccinations that may be recommended or required.
As the Local Operator is a reseller/facilitator of travel products, Passenger itineraries may include accommodation services and/or additional services such as transfers, excursions, and activities that will not be provided or operated by the Local Operator, but rather by independent third-party owners and/or operators not owned or managed by the Local Operator (“Third Party Service Providers”). Although the Local Operator has taken all reasonable steps to provide and publish (on our booking engine - Premiere), where such information was provided to the Local Operator, the health and safety protocols implemented by the Third Party Service Providers, the Local Operator is not in a position to validate or dictate their health and safety protocols, which will vary among Third Party Service Providers. As a result, the local operator cannot confirm the standard to which the Third Party Service Providers' protocols conform and therefore AlliedTPro cannot accept any form of liability (in the broadest terms) and hereby expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability in the event that a passenger (or any member of their party) contracts an infectious disease (including COVID-19) when using our services or the services of a Third Party Service Provider. The same will apply in respect of all public areas (i.e., monuments, public places, tourist sites, etc.) that passengers may visit while traveling, as the local operator has no control over the health and safety protocols followed in public areas or any action by a member of the public that may cause infection with an infectious disease.
ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
The local operator strives to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and provide reasonable accommodations to its passengers and guests for all services and accommodations it provides directly to the public. In addition, the local operator endeavors to contract with third-party service and accommodation providers who also agree to comply with ADA requirements (although the local operator cannot guarantee or be a guarantor of ADA compliance by any third-party service or accommodation provider). If your passenger has a medical or physical condition that may require reasonable accommodation by AlliedTPro, please indicate your needs to the local operator at the time of booking, and every effort will be made to accommodate these passengers, but reservations cannot be automatically confirmed.
Passengers requiring assistance with personal needs must be accompanied by a physically fit companion.
HOTEL CLOSURES/ FORCE MAJEURE
Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control ("Force Majeure") may mean that passengers must be relocated to alternative accommodation or that the reservation(s) may be cancelled, in whole or in part. If the circumstances are beyond our control or are deemed to be beyond our control, the local operator will not be liable and/or under no obligation to find alternative accommodation or incur additional costs to find such accommodation. Performance of any hotel or service reservation agreement is subject to circumstances such as (but not limited to) hotel closures, change of ownership (which voids the contract), acts of God or acts of nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, severe weather or storms, hurricanes or other natural disasters), war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, pandemic, epidemic, nationalization, government sanctions, blockades, embargoes, labor disputes, strikes, stoppages, or interruption or failure of public services or telephone services. The local operator will not be liable and/or have no obligation to compensate if any third party service provider or hotel fails to provide the services/reservations due to a Force Majeure event.
SPECIAL NOTE TO THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For reservations made on or after April 6, 2020, please consider the risk of coronavirus (COVID-19) and associated government measures. If you do not book a flexible rate (free cancellation), you may not be eligible for a refund. Your cancellation request will be processed by the property according to the selected policy and applicable booking terms.
During periods of uncertainty, we recommend booking an option with free cancellation.
The local operator has worked diligently with all its suppliers to offer flexible rates whenever available. If plans change, the reservation can be canceled free of charge until the free cancellation period expires.
TYPES OF SERVICES PROVIDED
The local operator is an inbound tour operator, operating as a wholesaler of tourism products in the United States. As such, it acts only as a facilitator and not as a provider of hotel or local services. Suppliers of transportation, excursions, hotel accommodations, meals, and other services and attractions, as well as tour guides, are independent contractors and not agents or employees of the local operator. Therefore, neither the local operator nor any of its affiliates shall be liable for personal injury or death, or for damage to or loss of property arising from the performance or non-performance of these individuals and entities, or from other incidents occurring during the tour, including, but not limited to, equipment failure, accidents, theft, loss or damage to luggage, strikes, delays, cancellation or changes to the itinerary, schedule, etc. The local operator has no responsibility and will not issue refunds in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, or any other cause of force majeure or beyond its direct control.
